Dr Ramadoss participate marriage function at Namakkal

நாமக்கல் மாவட்டத்திற்கு இன்று காலை வருகை புரிந்த பா.ம.க. நிறுவன தலைவர் மருத்துவர் ராமதாஸ் அவர்க்கு நாமக்கலில் முதல் நிகழ்ச்சி ராசிபுரம் ATC டிப்போவில் சிறப்பான வரவேற்ப்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டது.

இதில் நாமக்கல் மாவட்டத்தில் புதிதாத பதவி ஏற்றுகொண்ட மேற்கு மாவட்ட மாநில துணை பொதுசெயலாளர் ஒ.பி பென்னு சாமியும் நாமக்கல் மாவட்ட செயலாளர் சரவணராஜ் மற்றும் பா.ம.க நிர்வாகிகள் கலந்து கொண்டார்கள்.

இதனை அடுத்து புதுசத்திராத்தில் கிழக்கு மாவட்ட மாநில துணைப்பொது செயலளார் பொன்ரமேஷ் தலைமையில் வரவேற்பு நிகழ்ச்சி நடைபெற்றது. இதில் இன்று காலை திருமணமான தங்கபாண்டி தாம்பதியினரை ஆசிர்வாதம் வழங்கினார்.

இப்பகுதி பா.ம.க ஒன்றிய செயலாளார் கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி குழந்தைக்கு இன்று பிறந்தநாள் அக்குழத்தைக்கு கேக் வெட்டி கொண்டாடி குழந்தைக்கு கேக் வழங்கி சிறப்பித்தார் . ராசிபுரத்தில் இருந்து நாமக்கல் வரும் வழி நெடுக்கும் பா.ம.க நிர்வகிகள் மருத்துர் அவர்களுக்கு சிறப்பான வரவேற்பு நிகழ்த்தப்பட்டது. இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் பா.ம.க நிர்வகிகள் மேற்கு மாவட்ட மாநில துணை பொதுசெயலாளர் ஒ.பி பொன்னு சாமியும் நாமக்கல் மாவட்ட செயலாளர் சரவணராஜ், கிழக்கு மாவட்ட மாநில துணைப்பெது செயலளார் பொன்ரமேஷ் ,வடிவேல், நல்விணை விஸ்வராஜ், சம்பத்குமார், பழனிசாமி, கார்த்திக், சிவகுமார். பாலு, மற்றும் பா.ம.க நிர்வாகிகள் கலந்து கொண்டார்கள்.

70th Republic Day: Men, machines and glorious diversity

In a recognition of the Subhas Chandra Bose led Indian National Army’s (INA) role in India’s history, four of its veterans featured in the parade during the 70th Republic Day celebrations on Saturday. An all-women contingent of the Assam Rifles also made its debut as did the Army’s newly inducted K-9 Vajra and M777 howitzers in the military display, while an Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 aircraft powered by biodiesel flew in the flypast.

Republic Day celebrated with fervour

The 70th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal in the district on Saturday. The national flag was hoisted at the Armed Reserve Police Grounds by Collector S. Natarajan.

Honouring of freedom fighters, distribution of welfare assistance, awards to employees, and cultural performance by students followed the flag hoisting ceremony.

The Collector inspected the guard of honour and took the salute of the parade by contingents of police, Fire and Rescue Services personnel, National Cadet Corps, and Home Guards, accompanied by Superintendent of Police N. Manivannan in an open vehicle. Medals, shields and certificates were awarded to personnel from Madurai city, rural police, government departments, and those involved in social work. Welfare benefits and subsidies from different departments to the tune of roughly Rs. 1 crore distributed to 57 beneficiaries.

As many as 765 students from six educational institutions enthralled the audience. ‘Mallar Kambam,’ a traditional gymnastics, was performed by students of S. K.V. Higher Secondary School from Paappanaickenpatti. Karate programme by students from E.M.G. Yadava Women’s College received wide applause. ‘Karakattam’ performance by M. Karuppasamy, a Class 12 student from Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Melur, was also well appreciated.

K.P. Shanmuga Rajeswaran, Inspector General, South Zone, S. Davidson Devasirvatham, Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, Pradip Kumar, Deputy Inspector General (Madurai Range), S.P. Amrith, Additional Collector, and senior officials attended the ceremony.

lovers fort or Namakkal Fort?

Namakkal Fort is a historic fort present in Namakkal in Namakkal district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The fort was built during the reign of Thirumalai Nayak of Madurai in 17th century.[1]The fort is located on the top of a hillock made of a single rock, 75 m (246 ft) tall. There is a temple and a mosque that are located within the fort, both of which are popular tourist attractions of the town. In modern times, the fort is under the control of the Archaeological Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

நாமக்கல் மலைக்கோட்டை காதலர்களின் கோட்டையாக மறுகிறது. பாறையின் மீது ஆபத்தை உணராமல் அமரும் காதலர்கள்

நாமக்கல்லில் பிரசித்தி பெற்ற மலைக்கோட்டையை சுற்றி உள்ள பாறை விளிம்புகளில் ஆபத்தை உணராமல் காதலர்கள் அமர்ந்து காதல் கதை பேசி வருவதாக குற்றம் சாட்டுகின்றனர். மலைக்கோட்டைக்கு பாதுகாவலர்களை நியமிக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டுமெனவும், சமூகஆர்வலர்கள் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளனர்.

நாமக்கல் நகரின் மையப் பகுதியில் மலைக்கோட்டை அமைந்துள்ளது. கோட்டையின் எதிரில் பிரசித்தி பெற்ற ஆஞ்சநேயர் கோவில், கோட்டை அடிவாரத்தில் நாமகிரியம்மன், ரங்கர் சன்னதி கோவில் அமைந்துள்ளது. தவிர, மலை மீது திப்புசுல்தான் கோட்டை அமைந்துள்ளது.

அக்கோட்டையினுள் தானியக் கிடங்கு, ஆயுதக் கிடங்கு உள்ளிட்டவை பழமை மாறாமல் அமைந்துள்ளது. மலை உச்சியில் உள்ள கோட்டை மதில்களுக்கு இடையே, இரு குளங்கள் அமைந்துள்ளது. அவற்றை தொல்பொருள் ஆய்வுத்துறையினர் பராமரிப்பு செய்து வருகின்றனர். பழம்பெருமை வாய்ந்த இம்மலைக்கோட்டை, தற்போது காதலர்கள் மற்றும் கள்ளக்காதலர்களிடம் புகலிடமாக உள்ளது. அவ்வாறு வரும் காதலர்கள், ஆபத்தை உணராமல் ஆங்காங்கே உள்ள பாறைகளின் விளிம்பில் அமர்ந்து காதல் வளர்த்து வருகின்றனர்.நாமக்கல்லுக்கு பெருமை சேர்ப்பதில் மலைக்கோட்டைக்கு மிக முக்கியத்துவம் உள்ளது. நாமக்கல் நகரில் எந்த பகுதிகளில் இருந்து பார்த்தாலும் பார்வையில் படும்படி கம்பீரமான தோற்றத்துடன் இந்த கோட்டை அமைந்துள்ளது. இக்கோட்டையை பார்வையிட வரும் பார்வையாளர்கள், அங்குள்ள பாறையில் ஆணியை கொண்டு பெயர் செதுக்குதல், குடைதல் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு தேவையற்ற செயல்களில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர்.

சில இடங்களில் பார்வையாளர்கள் முகம் சுழிக்கும் வகையிலான வாசகங்களையும் அவர்கள் பொறித்து வைத்துள்ளனர். அதேபோல், மலைக்கோட்டைக்கு வரும் காதல் மற்றும் கள்ளக்காதல் ஜோடிகள் பாறைகளின் விளிம்பில் ஆபத்தை உணராமல் அமர்ந்து, சில்மிஷத்தில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர். பாறை விளிம்பில் இருந்து சிறிது சறுக்கினால் கீழே விழுந்து காயம் அடைய நேரிடும். மலைக்கோட்டைக்கு வரும் காதலர்கள் பாறையின் விளிம்பில் அமர்வது ஆபத்து என்பதை உணர வேண்டும். மலைக்கோட்டைக்கு ஒரு பாதுகாவலரையாவது நியமிக்க வேண்டும்.
